Her black is beautiful
She’s exotic and strong
She’s not white as snow
Nor fair as a rose
But majestic –
Like the storm
She’s not fair as clouds
Nor gleaming bright as the moon
But ferocious like the panther
That tears up
What stands in its way
She’s dark
And I love her in all darkness
She’s not at all fair
But dark like the feathers
Of the Black swan!
She’s exotic and strong
She’s not white as snow
Nor fair as a rose
But majestic –
Like the storm
She’s not fair as clouds
Nor gleaming bright as the moon
But ferocious like the panther
That tears up
What stands in its way
She’s dark
And I love her in all darkness
She’s not at all fair
But dark like the feathers
Of the Black swan!
